What is she trying to say?

I am a behaviour analyst, therefore I spend my life trying to figure out the meaning, aka function of behaviour.  What could this mess that I found when I came home after Lee's first long day alone be saying? (Note this is my sewing kit that has been sitting on the same shelf for several months and she has never gone near it).

a) I hate being alone, the cats don't play my games well enough. I need a new friend. Get me a puppy!
b) If I destroy this you can't fix my babies and I can pull all their stuffing out.
c) I need more exercise, you never take me out! (Which would be a lie we went for a super long walk before I left)
d) This was in a stupid place. I don't like it.

  1. I'm tempted to go with A :[ I've never experienced it, but I've heard that a dog loosing their friend is very difficult on them.

    How are YOU doing?

  2. I am doing ok. I am having more moments when I am able to stand outside my grief. Had a very hard one today when I went and picked up Gemi's ashes. Ever want to make a busy waiting room quiet say something like "I am here to pick up Gemini's ashes" and the place gets dead silent and people turn away.

I think if I get Hailey a new friend, it will prove I am totally crazy!

  3. I can't even imagine.

I thought getting two dogs would be difficult, but am finding that Halladay and Wookie are so easy together. It's when you add in a third dog that things get chaotic.
