Mischief Monday - The Problem with 4

Friday. Uncle Chris and Emma were visiting for the weekend. Lady was fighting a migraine. Uncle Chris and the Man went out to pick up dinner, leaving 3 dogs who need to go out. So out they went. 2 of the neighbour children and Callie happened by and the following happened:

-Emma was terrified and only ok if Lady was holding her. She ended up in the house.

-Hailey tried to use Lady's distraction to go for a walk, so she ended up in the house.

-Callie was chasing her boy and nipping his ankles, which Phod interpreted as hurting his boy, and while he did not get aggressive, was leaning that way, so he ended up in the house.

-While Lady was sitting talking to the kids, Callie decided to go into the bush, so Lady went and got her.

Lady said it felt like a comedy and was a very busy 30 minutes!

Tasty Tuesday - And The Little Ones Chewed On The Bones

Recently the Man cooked up a big ham. We had ham for days. There is ham frozen in the freezer there was so much ham.

The best part, was getting to chew on the bone. Sadly, we didn't get it unsupervised (and by unsupervised we mean the Man holding it). But this was better than nothing! 

Lady loves Lee's eyes when she is excited about food!

Mischief Monday - A Dramatic Recreation

Please forgive the Lady's art skills, she has some extra time on her hands. 

Setting: A day from a couple weeks ago. We know it was that long because the peeps still left the house for work. 

Weather: It was really windy.

What happened: The top of a dead tree in our front yard blew off.

Lady loves that the 3 of us are able to share food and there is no resource guarding (of course, for safety, and more so because Lee will take any opening to steal food she can, we are always closely monitored when we are being fed!)

Tis The Season - Pay the Tax

Tis The Season and in our house that can only mean one time. Time to pay the hat tax.

What is the hat tax you ask?

It is the price we pay for living as 'freeloaders' in this house. Lady says since we do not contribute financially, and only cost her money, several times a year we can amuse her by having to wear hats or dress up so she can take pictures and post them all over the internet. 

Here are the pictures from the first round of Christmas hat tax. Because the Man is still recovering from surgery, this year we only put up our Hanukkah themed tree because Lady could do this on her own (the 15 foot one is too heavy for her to do alone).
