We were thrilled when our new pal Bonnie presented us with this award last week. Thanks Bonnie!

1. Does yoo sleep on da big bed wif yoo mum or duz yoo haf yoor own bed?
Hailey: I sleep on the bed with my people. I like to sleep on their legs.
Zaphod: I have a bed on the floor by the bed that I sleep in. 
2. Wots yoor favwite treat?
Hailey: I like anything. I just love treats. 
Zaphod: I don't like treats with fruit or veggies. I prefer things that are all meat. 
3. Wots yoor favwitest fing to do eva?
Hailey: Let my people rub my belly.
Zaphod: Play fetch

4. Duz yoo dig holes?
Hailey: Yes, I love to dig.
Zaphod: Not as much as Hailey, because I love fetch so much. 
5. Can yoo swim?
Hailey: I don't know, I won't go deep enough in the water.
Zaphod: I love to swim and play water fetch. Lady says I would swim across the lake to get my ball.
6. Duz yoo haf any furbros & sisfurs?
Hailey: Obviously I have my adopted brothers Zaphod and Nin and angel Baggy and sister angel Gemini. I have two biological siblings out there somewhere.
Zaphod: I don't remember if I have biological siblings. I love my adopted ones Hailey and Nin. 
7. Duz yoo like summer or winter best and why?
Hailey: Summer - we can go out on longer walks and I love to roll on the grass.
Zaphod: Summer - I don't mind my frisbee but I love my ball the best and I am only allowed to have it when there is no snow. I also can't go to the beach in the winter. 
8. Iz yoo scared of anyfing?
Hailey: Thunder, fireworks, children, gun fire - I am scared of lots of things.
Zaphod: Just the vacuum
9. Duz yoo bury fings for later?
Both: No. We got a BowserBox, does that count?

10.Duz yoo got yoor own Zombie Squad uniform or/and name tag?
Both: No we don't. 

11.Iz yoo a barker or a whiner wen yoo wants sum fin?
Hailey: I actually stomp my feet. 
Zaphod: I just stare. 
What are yoor 11 random facts yoo'd like to share wif us?
1. Lady loves the little scar on Phod's nose.
2. When you are rubbing Hailey's belly she smiles.
3. Phod has taken to sleeping on his bed with his head on the floor.
4. We eat at 6:30 am and 6:30 pm (most of the time).
5. Lady usually takes us for our morning walk first thing. We are best behaved at this time.
6. Hailey watches TV and barks at other animals. She even recognizes the music of some of her least preferred commercials and will wake up and bark.
7. Zaphod doesn't love training time. He does it, but isn't excited.
8. Hailey gets so excited at training time she doesn't always listen.
9. Hailey and Lady share many qualities (anxiety, intensity, determination, stubbornness). Lady says Hailey is her in dog form.
10. The dogs ask to go out more on days Lady is home alone than days the Man is home alone.
11. Hailey often puts herself to bed in the evening. 

Awards and Other Catch Up

First, we would like to take a moment to say goodbye to our friend Daisy from http://scotsmad.blogspot.ca who lost her battle to oral cancer this week. Run Free Daisy. Hugs to her sisters, Roxy and Bella.


I am embarrassed by how long it took me to formally thank Love is Being Owned by a Husky for the following awards:

I admit to having been too busy and overwhelmed with work to give my blog the full attention it needs. I see this being a bit of a problem for the next couple weeks, so will do my best to keep up with this and everyone else's (we may comment a little less, but know we are visiting!)

To help with this catch up,  have decided to copy others and have one day a week where I do this. For now this is going to be my Saturday post.

Monday: Attack of the pb

It is far more challenging to get pb on the dogs correctly when you are laughing so hard you can't see! It was a very fun, if unsuccessful photo shoot and perhaps turned out better then planned! 

Tuesday: Life with Emma

Easy: I am sure Emma would love to date you, but I don't think her dad would allow her, he is very strict.

Moving the cat food: The cats are feed their soft food on the counter. Nin can jump up and down but Baggy can't so they are lifted 2 times a day for this. They also have access to hard food during most of the day. The issue is, Baggy can't climb up. We  keep the cat food in the laundry room. We have a baby gate across the door. Our dogs are too big, Emma is smaller than Baggy so she can fit under. I don't think we have another place to put it. We are just monitoring Emma more and during the week only putting the hard food down once Emma is in the crate for the day or gone to bed for the night. 

Cat poop: I don't think Emma eats it, Lee does . . . . Lee also eats cat vomit, dog poop, deer poop etc etc. Lee is just gross! 

Wordless Wednesday:

Hailey gives me lots of kisses (usually when I first come home). I don't normally have to resort to pb, but to get the picture I wanted, I needed help. I washed my face after not because of the pb but because it was covered in slobber! 

Thursday: Love your pet day:

Yes, you are all correct, love your pet day is pretty much every day in the house (maybe a little less when people do things like eat the wall or pee on the guest bed).

Nin has been our simplest pet, so him clearing the magnets is like a human curing cancer. 

Friday: Laundry Inspector:

Baggy has always loved warm laundry and other warm places. When he was younger, I discouraged it as I didn't like the cat hair on the clothes. Now in what may be his last year, he can do what he wants!
