Nature Friday - Looking Back

Thanks to Rosy and Sunny for hosting this event.

After what feels like forever of living in grey winter world, Lady thought sharing some pictures from the summer and the trail cam would be fun! We could use the promise of spring now!

A blue jay

A blue jay and a red winged blackbird

Downy woodpecker

The feeder emptier - the black squirrel

Hope you enjoyed a reminder of summer!

  1. the deer looks funny.... as if it would grin :O))

  2. Hari OM
What a lovely collection of critters you had visit - hope they are back again soon! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. We love watching and feeding the birds too!

  4. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh I've only seen a red winged blackbird once when visiting the coast.
Last 4ish weeks have been very mild. Now they tell us Old Man winter is scheduling another visit next week. Just crazy weather
    Hugs to you 4

  5. Oh that red-winged black bird is very handsome (and unfamiliar to us here in Scotland).
We do however know all about pesky squirrels stealing the food meant for birds...

  6. Those squirrels will be back before you know it!!!
Funny, unlike Gail and C...we have a TON of red winged blackbirds here now...They scare all the other birds away from the feeder. I wonder if we get your Winter migrators?

  7. With all the snow we have coming down right now, your look to summer is helping us feel warm.

  8. Thank you for reminding me of summer days to come.
