Nature Friday - Hunting Grounds

Lady's feeders are very busy these days with birds big and small.

They are emptying the feeder every day. The leaf you see is suppose to keep the birds from hitting the window, but it doesn't really work.

The rafter of turkeys can have as many as 16!

All this activity is at the least keeping the stray we call Slinky, entertained. Lady has not seen her hunt, but is sure she is.

Oh yes, I would say that Stinky is definitely eyeing up the smorgasbord! Though if she is thinking about turkey, she might have to think again. They tend to gang up! Hugs and wags, YAM -aunty xxx

  7. You sure have lots of birds in your yard. We hope Slinky leaves them alone and finds some mice to munch on instead.

  9. What terrific shots of the birds! We have only seen a few turkeys in the village they don't seem to like the dogs barking at them. We wish our Peep would get a feeder, but she does not trust me or Kozmo. Purrs Marv
