Dear Man - Day 1

Welcome to a special series where throughout the next 2 weeks we are going to write posts to our Man who is sailing the seven seas. (Lady was invited, she decided to stay home with us).

Dear Man,

When Lady got home from the Big Guy's birthday dinner and you weren't with her, we were a little mad. However, we did settle and let Lady have a good night sleep. She needed this after a week where she is not 100% sure someone accidentally opened a portal to hell.

We let her sleep in until 7 am before hitting the trails.

The sunrise was stunning.

We had a nice hike through the sugar bush.

We had to complain about the service because as you will see the water bowl was clearly empty.

Some dog showed her displeasure by peeing on the carpet.

We spent a lot of time outside. It was 26C/78F

It really was beautiful.

Some of us may have wandered to the neighbours and maybe around the gravel pit.

We had a visit with Callie.

Lady groomed us outside.

Lady then left us for 87 hours (she says 4, but we don't think she can tell time) and was back for sunset.

After dinner, we snuggled up to watch Downtown Abbey: The Era.

Overall, we had a good day, but we do miss you.

Lee and Phod

  3. It's good to make sure Man is kept up to speed with all your activities. But 26C in November? Isn't Canada supposed to be cold?
