Mischief Monday - Summer Has Arrived

Dear pals,

Since we are not allowed to make Lady feel guilty for being a bad friend and blog visiter, we will give this week's mischief award to the weather. It is hard to believe we still had snow on April 23, because this past week has been hot. It has been getting to the low 30sC (that is almost 90 F). It was so hot the people put their a/c in the bedroom.

The only good thing to come from all of this heat is we have been back to the lake!

The temperature is perfect!

A mid-May swim

The dock is in!

Even Hailey waded in the water!

My Happy Place

  1. oh how great that you welcomed your lake back with a visit in may... we hope for a good and warm summer... maybe what starts early will last long?

  2. Hari Om
One extreme to another, eh peeps and pups? Not a complaint, here by the Hutch, as it pours and blusters outside and I need the lights to see the keyboard!!! I shall revel in these pictures of you at play and in bright sunshine... Hugs and wags, YAM-auntyxxx

  3. Nineties are just too hot for May! Thank goodness you have a beautiful lake to cool off in.

  4. Hailey in the water is a shock! you all look happy to be at the lake and that is a good thing. water is next best to snow, right Phod?

  5. Whatever happened to believing in Farmers Almanac weather? (PS ... June is sure she saw
some SNOW over there in the trees behind The Mans head) ... PPS check your email, we sent a question to you this morning

  6. Phod and Lee I loved seeing you both cooling your heels
    Hugs Cecilia
PS they are threatening us with 95 degrees on Friday!!

  7. My, the lake looks delightful!

  8. Oooh, a visit to the lake. The does look exciting!
Here in Scotland, we have had the occasional hint of summer, but then it was back to a high of 10 degrees C and rain today...

  9. Lake life is good, isn't it Phoddy?
    Rosy, Jakey & Sunny

  10. We have had those same hot temps here and wish we had a lake to cool off in like you do. You both sure look happy.

  11. At least the hots have their advantage...of being able to cool off in the lake!

  12. My favorite lake-doggies! So much fun. Once I almost stepped in a puddle....

    Love and licks,

  13. Jester will not touch water for anything! I even have a swimming pool for him... our German Shepherd, Ranger, always got into it, and so did Lilly, the Retriever.... but Jester does not like to get a paw wet! :-)

  14. With those kinds of temps, a dip is definitely a must! Stay cool.

  15. Hi Cousin and Handsome! That is TOO HOT! But hurray for the lake!
