Mischief Monday - The Cold Continues

Dear pals,

We have had another week of extreme cold. It was so cold every morning, we didn't get a proper walk. We limped to get the mail a few times. A few days at lunch it was warm enough to be outside for like 15 minutes before our paws froze.

We have begun to get restless and are driving Lady a little crazy.

We should have started this early because this got us some puzzle time!

The real mischief is the treats Lady put in the purple puzzle were too big to get out!

After a good try, Lady took the treats out and let me have them!

  3. we tried the puzzle thing and Beau would not even try to work it... glad mama took the too big treats out for you... so sorry your paws can't play outside. 3rd day in a row we walked in frost, but only 34 degrees which if FREEZING in Florida, but nothing for you two

  4. Oh no Lee and Phod happy that your frosty paws warmed up quickly.
LOL Lady thought she was being smart..with the larger treats.
Some warm thoughts coming your way. Did you hear about it being so cold in parts of Florida iguanas were falling out of the trees. Evidently when it got so cold their bodies went into sleep mode so that they could conserve their own heat. They did wake up eventually happy.
The thoughts of an iguana falling on my head...is scary

  5. We've had much the same problem here. Our mom puts booties on us so we can go out and do our "business" without hurting our paws. We act like we don't like it but once we get outside we forget we have them on.

  6. What a fun way to spend time indoors. It's still cold here too...and we're supposed to get a big snow storm later this week.

  7. Puzzles are a good alternative to outside adventures. Hopefully smaller and frequently flowing treats will help pass the time.

  9. I love the interactive games in the winter! Anything that dispenses treats is a good thing!
