While Hailey and Zaphod clearly tolerate each other and May like each other, I have never thought of them as a bonded pair. However in the last week or so I have got glimpses of how much they care for each other.

It's nice to see you two really do care about each other. Millie can be the one who acts like she doesn't care that much about Walter until he must go off to the vet by himself. Then she gets a bit worried about where he went and is very happy to see him return. Walter, of course, worships the ground his sister walks on.
