Tuesdays with Tigris - Trespasser

 Hello readers,

The Lady is insisting I start by apologizing on her behalf for not being a good friend. She has been busy with work and life and getting ready for the winter hibernation. Don't worry, Styx and I are getting lots of love and clearly, the Thanksgiving pictures are proof she may not be busy enough. At any rate, she hopes to slow down in November.

The biggest problem we have had and something that has taken up too much of her time, is a trespasser. This starving cat showed up last week. Lady decided she was going to feed it. Lady decided she is going to try and rescue her. Man is ok with this. He is supposed to be the one to stop her from these sorts of silly things.

Lady is giving our food to this stranger. I don't think I like it.

Lady and Man had named her Jack-o-lantern, because they forgot tortoiseshell cats were girls (how dump of them, this is what I am dealing with). So she is now Jack-o-Lanie. If Lady captures her, she may get another name. Lady has posted her on the lost and found page on Facebook. She does done some research into working with the SPCA to get her help. For now, she is feeding her and trying to get her to trust her.

The real problem with this is she is giving her all the food she wants, while I am on a diet. Also, when she has the door open, we must hang out in the bathroom. While I don't want Lanie to starve, I don't really like this and hope this is a phase and Lanie finds a great home somewhere far, far way.

Aw, Lady is being a good samaritan, and that is to be commended, Tigris dear... although I do appreciate that having your recently established territory invaded like this can be challenging. I put my paws together that Lanie does indeed find a loving furever home... and that there is no danger your place ends up being the next cat cafe! Hugs and whiskeries YAM-aunty xxx

  3. Just know that being a "trio" should that happen may not be such a bad thing ... she appears to be a lovely Lanie Lady ...

  4. My paws are crossed that the Lady can capture Lanie and get her to a vet for a check up soon. She looks like a sweet kitty and might make a welcome addition to your home.

  6. Your lady is wonderful person to feed Lanie as the weather gets cooler. Time will tell if she stays or not.
