Nature Friday - Run A Foul

Thanks to Rosy for hosting this hop.

There was some excitement in the hills last week when this unidentified foul has spent about a week living between our house and the neighbours. It was posted on the missing animal site. Bird is our new neighbour.

  5. No doubt Yamini is correct, but one can always send images to a wonderful site called WHAT'S THIS BIRD and be assured of an accurate identification. Just google it for the link.
She/he is quite pretty and likely an escapee!

  6. He better be careful as his white feathers have him clearly standing out and not camouflaged at all.

  8. What an unusual bird. We think Yam might be on to something. It's surprising someone isn't looking for it.

  13. Wow - I hope it stays safe! Just like our white kitty, it needs to do a better job at camouflage.
