Project Hailey - Progress

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, we have a thunderstorm. This was the second one in less than a week. Our unmedicated girl, did great.

While she paced some and was restless, she did not insist we get up. The only damage she did was to there blanket that she keeps ripping up (and we are cool with that). We were soooooo proud of her.

Needed a little extra sleep after a rough night.

Phod did ok too. He did need some love on the bed, and having a scared dog panting in your face in the middle of night in a heat wave is not a dream, but he was able to settle quickly too.

  2. super fabulous Professor Lee and yay to da fearless K9 Phod... that are GOOOOOD news! we have such wonderpills to cover the stress generally in dogs... all laughed at us and said it never works... but it did... or it is the mama who is stressfree now because she thinks the wonder pills did the trick? LOL

  3. It's good to hear both are doing fairly well through the storms. We hope you have a storm free rest of summer.

  5. This is great news for both of them. I do hope they're adjusting. We have had for four days in a row every afternoon thunderstorms by the end of the fourth day big is not as bad as he was. He went birth once in awhile if it's really loud and he wants to be close but he's stopped pacing and panting and looking wild. We're hoping that he's adjusting to it because there's so many and I hope that Lee and phod are adjusting also

  9. Slow and steady progress. We have had a few storms too. Both Misty and Timber are a little nervous about them, but nothing bad. Lightning doesn't seem to care at all as long as he doesn't have to go out in the rain:)

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  10. Last week there was a t-storm. Ghostwriter and I sat in the garage with the door open and watched it. The ground smells so good when it rains, and the drops splashed on my nose. After it passed, I went outside and sniffed around and under all the bushes and got soaking wet! We think storms are fun! We hope you pups can get over your fear and have fun like we do!
