Nature Friday - A Winter Walk

Thanks to our dear friends Rosy, Arty and Jakey for hosting Nature Friday.  Today we thought we should share pictures of our last walk of 2019. Lady does not usually bring a device to take pictures on when we walk, but she decided to share our winter wonderland with you, so she grabbed her phone.

It was a pretty icy walk because we had freezing rain followed by snow, which left an inch of ice underneath. There were more pictures but because we were not patient in waiting, many were blurry. Needless to say, Lady still got a few to share.

Peeking at our house

Walking down the main road

Looking at the hill the sun rises over

Our favourite road

Still on favourite road

Looking at the fields

  3. Phod you look like your are telling Mom to hurry up and open the warm house. I really enjoyed your walk in the woods and snow. I did not get my feet wet or cold, no cold nose or hands just enjoyed the beauty from my rocking chair.

  10. That is quite a winter wonderland you live in. It looks like there is enough snow to ski on the roads.

  15. You guys have beautiful scenery too! But your winter looks a tad colder than ours. We have been lucky this year that the temperature has been right around zero and not overly snowy.

  17. What a perfect and lovely walk! I continue to be so jealous of your snow! Of course, I'm saying that now because we don't have any, I wonder if I'll feel differently when it does finally snow?
