Mischief Monday - Snow Day!

It felt early this year, but on Friday, we had our first snow day.  We received about 13 cm/5 inches. Both Lady and Man were able to work from home and stay off the roads. If possible, the Man and Lady try to stay home on the bad days. That is 2 less cars on the road.

Since Lady wasn't run off her feet, she took us out for a good play.

Lee was not cooperative with taking her picture (she was too busy hunting the wild turkeys who are loving our yard).

Precious has been put away for the winter (she gets lost and someone get stressed and won't come in until she is found). The day before the storm, Phod's new disc arrived.  He had destroyed last years, so a new one was needed. Usually he is resistant to this switch, but this year he has embraced the disc.

In other news, the mice are back. After a week with very, very limited activity (maybe once), the mouse uber was in full swing on the weekend. To date, 19 mice have been removed from the house. The battle continues . . .

  2. Oh do I agree with Lady and Man's idea of staying off the road.
I did the very same thing when I was working. I'd rather use a vacation day to stay off the road than 87 sick days cause I was slippin' and sliddin'!!!
Hugs and I love your photos

  3. We used to see a big group of 13 wild turkeys on our walk. We haven't see them for a few weeks now - they must have headed to Canada seeing as Thanksgiving is upon us:)

Yay for protecting Precious and getting that new disc.

  7. Maybe the mice are trying to stay off the road too? Sorry about that. It can be frustrating to find where the little buggers are getting in. Hopefully you'll be able to put a stop to the Uber route.
