Selfie Sunday - Emma

Cousin Emma has now been in our house for 2 weeks. She has adjusted very well. The first few days were hard. On our first walk (me and the 3 dogs)  she refused to walk part way back and I had to carry her while trying to walk the other two. For a couple of days she lost her walk privileges but has been walking like a champ every since.

She also refused to eat. Because she was not eating, her stomach got upset. A little rice and then a little rice mixed into her food and she decided she would eat.

She has destroyed toys. She has insisted on being held in the night. She sits on my lap during my morning meditation. However, she is not peeing all over the house like previous visits (helped by the fact she is crated while we are out) and she isn't demanding to be held all the time. Overall, it is going well.

  11. Well done, E. New adjustments can be tough. I'm adjusting to our new apartment. There's a dog on the ceiling of the elevator!! Mom says it's a mirror. No. It's a dog that looks like me and it's up there every single time!!

    Love and licks,
