Black and White Sunday - Flashback To 2010

This flashback is brought to you in part because I haven't been out with my camera and the dogs to show you the snow that arrived December 27th. It will be easier to capture these type of pictures in a week or two when my new Olympus Tough-4 camera arrives . . . .

I was going through my pictures and found one of Hailey, the first winter we had her (she was 10 months old). This picture was taken on Halloween, 2010.

Hailey just wanted to eat the snow! She rarely tries to eat it now. She does enjoy playing in it.

  3. Fresh snow is just the best - it is when it starts turning brown and slushy that is loses its appeal

  17. Thanks for letting us know where you are located. We are going to have to work very hard to get Mom and Dad to move that far north. They were there one summer visiting some friends and loved it, but Mom isn't crazy about THAT much snow:)

  18. Love the flashback!!! Shyla eats snow a lot on our long snowbike rides, probably to quench her thirst. That's a good strategy because the water I carry freezes!

  21. My boys have always hated the snow. I don't ever remember seeing them try to eat it, mostly they just try to avoid it. Our snow melted a lot today, still plenty left though.
