Zaphod was super sweet with her and as you will see, put up with a lot. He was clearly sort of jealous and spent a great deal of time trying to lay in the way.
"If I just lie right here, she has to give me the attention." |
Phod avoided having to have it on by rolling away.
The Man tried to teach Maggie to play fetch with Phod. Unfortunately, she didn't throw it far enough and he was disappointed.
"Stop playing and start throwing!" |
Phod gets an A+ for his interactions with Maggie. I think if she could learn to play fetch better, he would totally love her and stop being jealous.
Such a gentle pup Phod...wait, when Maggie's older, playing fetch wiv you will be her FAVOURITE game!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

better get those throwing arm exercises started - she is going to be phods greatest bud :)
ReplyDeleteMaggie is adorable! So sweet that she wanted to put a hat on Zaphod. As for the jealousy of Zaphod - Toby adores our grandkids and is very protective of them. That doesn't keep him from being jealous though. He'll climb right into our laps to claim us when he feels like the little ones are getting too much attention :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a good boy Phod was! I am sure he will love her to pieces when she finally learns how to throw a ball properly. BOL
ReplyDeleteThis is so precious!! Hey, can ya'll email me at baconthompson@gmail.com ?

Both my dogs can be jealous when they see me giving attention to someone else (and that includes the other dog.) It can be challenging finding the right balance, but eventually the kids grow and need less attention. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet that Maggie and Phod got along so well. I'm pretty sure Shiver would freak out with a little one around since he's an anxious boy and has never really been around them before.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Phod could have a talk with Hailey?
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I am sure they will be best friends soon
ReplyDeleteGood job, Phod!
ReplyDeleteBOL, I'm shure she'll be throwin it better soon!
ReplyDeleteI think you were very smooth avoiding the hat, Phod. Gotta draw the line somewhere....
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
I am sure they will be best friends soon
ReplyDeletePhod, you did so very well. We aren't too crazy about hats either, but that pink one sure is pretty. You will have to get Dad to work on Maggie's arm strength - you will have a blast playing fetch together.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
Phod you are a sweet boy :) Glad that Maggie had positive interaction with half the crew! Maybe Maggie can roll the kong? Way to stay away from the hat Phod :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys has been so kind to come and visit ofur on my bloggie and I has been such a doodyhead not making ofur here to your bloggie until now. But I is here now and I really needs to be better about visiting Blogville. (Pee Ess - Furry nice job, Phod, not letting that hat go on your head! Can't get a hat on an upside down dog, BOL!)
ReplyDeleteWay to go Phod. Maybe next time she comes over she will be a bit more coordinated and be able to toss the ball to your satisfaction.
ReplyDeleteGood boy!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to not be jealous of the little peeps.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Good boy Phod!

Way to go, Phod!!! Don't worry - Maggie will be able to play fetch much better very soon as she grows up!
ReplyDeleteGood job Phod!
ReplyDeleteJust wait until she gets a little older, Phod, then she'll be able to throw better and you'll have nothing but fun with her!
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! Avoidance is the best tactic! And I agree - once the little people learn to throw things for us, they're pretty pawesome! (Cobi would growl and maybe nip, but not me. I'm just like Handsome Phod on this one!)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is very impressive and have the useful information it is really caught my attention.
