Feline Friday - Kitchen Tour

I'm Nin and Lady said everyone wants to see the kitchen. I said "What kitchen is?" and Lady said she would help me put up some pictures.  Enjoy!
This picture is meant to give everyone some perspective on the location of the kitchen in relationship to the dining room table we never use (as we sit at the island all the time!). Look closely and Nin is standing on the island. Yes the cats are allowed on the island - why - because they are old.

Dishes waiting by the sink

One side of the kitchen. The Man wanted to clean but the Lady wouldn't let him.
Note the blue bottle. Lady had just got home from work when she took this picture. She picked up a new pet stain remover cause someone peed on the guest bed. The Lady's lunch bag is temporarily there, but that yellow bag has been sitting on the counter for like 2 weeks cause the Lady doesn't know what to do with it.

The other side of the kitchen. Look at all that stuff by the phone. It just sits there.

"Can you stop taking pictures and feed me please?"  Nin

  2. Hehe - nice tour Nin! Reminds me of my kitchen too, but I hardly think it's "messy".

  3. We agree with Mollie a bit of clutter is good and likewise you should see our study. LOL. Have a fabulous Friday.
    Best wishes Molly.

  4. Your home is beautiful and what mom likes best you can tell you live and love your furkids in it also....we wish we had a big kitchen..our house is 150 years old and i guess back then the kitchens were the size of
    stella rose

  5. YEP! Gotta have a little bit of clutter in the kitchen!!!

  6. I love your kitchen! I'd have a field day in there :)

    Benny & Lily

  8. Love the kitchen. And good for you for just going ahead and showing all of us. I think it looks great. Wish us dogs were allowed on the island and counter tops.

  9. oooh I love the dark wood! And the island is terrific! SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS! :)

  10. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Thank you for the kitchen photos! It's a lovely kitchen. It is. And much cleaner than my own.

I was going to ask if I could crash at your place next time I come through town, but I've changed my mind ... ;)

  11. Our dining room table is the catch all. It's always full of stuff that SHE can't decide what to do with. We think your kitchen looks just fine!

    XXXOOO Daisy, bella & Roxy

  12. Beautiful house! Sounds like it's got to be fabulous and what a change from your previous home. Sounds like a people and pet lovers paradise!

    Pam (and Sam of course)

  13. I had to laugh at the reason the kitties are allowed on the island. Twinkie, our 18-year-old kitty, was never allowed on tables or counters in the past and never seemed bothered by it. Recently, she has taken up residence on the kitchen table and we let her do whatever she wants because...she's old. I often wonder if they wake up one day and say, "Hey! I'm old and I'm going to do whatever I want, and I'll bet the humans will let me get away with it!"
