It has been 184 days (just over 6 months) since my imprisonment, and as I mentioned, I am starting to enjoy the big house.
The Wardens are excited because this week I spent more time upstairs in the morning with them. I have been coming up to eat, but not staying around. As mentioned, I have discovered laser pointer and even played with Lady Warden one morning (taken from a video, made without my consent).

I also like the new toy the Wardens brought Styx and Hiss (she just hisses at me so much, I think this is her prison name).
Lady Warden was so excited when I just sat upstairs the other morning. Apparently she was excited with how relaxed I was a loaf.
My complaint this week is the Man Warden tricked me into his lap using treats. I did not like this. I love treats and will tolerate a lot for them, but lap love, I think this is too much.
The Wardens were reflecting on 6 months that they did not know if I would be here (both still in the house and as friendly) during those early days in October. But here we are, and we keep going forward.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are doing so well, Lanie. I'm happy to hear you are spending more time with the rest of the family. In time I bet you will learn to love lap time.
