Hi friends, hi friends, hi friends,
It is the most exciting day of the month. It is both Aunty-Yam's FFF and Rosy and Sunny's Nature Friday and I am so, so excited.
Because no one picked this week to guess about our snow (and don't worry, we have a lot, too much Lady says), I will get back to my contest next week. Contest hosting is fun, but it is hard. Styxy's aren't sure the love hard work. Stay tuned.
Now on to my post for this FFF Nature Friday.
My name is Styx and I love the sun,
It has been gone and that is not much fun.
It has been dark and grey and cold,
And seeing all white is getting old.
I hope that spring will really come,
So I can see green and not be as glum.
Hurry up Spring!
Tigris has asked to partake in today and because Lady has stolen her weekly post, I said she could. From Grissie.
Get out of my sun.
I don't care about snow because I live inside.
Let me sleep.
We hope you all have a great weekend!
your pal the poetic Styxy and Tigris (who is not poetic)

get out of my sun is a cool title for a song..
ReplyDeleteWe think your poem and Gris' haiku are purrrfect! We hope you have more sun than snow this weekend!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Even though there is snow on the ground, I'm glad to see you can find some sun puddles to bask in inside.

ReplyDeleteOh, Bravo! Brava! You both did brilliantly... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Nice poem. You are both adorable. XO
ReplyDeleteI also enjoy the sun.
ReplyDeleteYes, SUN! we saw it a wee bit today, but late in the evening we got more of that cold white stuff...sheesh, the other day it was 69F!
ReplyDeleteWe are overly anxious to see green grass and pretty flowers too, Styx!
ReplyDeleteHeeheehee! Your two poems, so different, made me laugh. The snow is pretty, but yes, all the white would get tiring after a very short time.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fantastic sun puddle
