It has been 114 days since my capture and apparently since the wardens have returned, they are thrilled with my progress.
First, I am moving around a little more. I am going between my cell and the warden's office more often. I am venturing upstairs when the wardens are downstairs. The wardens report I have more relaxed body language and seem less frantic.

Second, which as far as I am concerned is the worst, the wardens have taken to picking me up some. The Lady warden insists on hugging and kissing me and got teary the first time she could do this. I don't love this and sometimes try and get back in my tree or window, but to date, no one has been hurt.

Third, i will now come down and drink water and use my litter if the wardens are in my cell with me. Apparently this excites them.
I still continue to spend more time in my cell, with the door open, I am apparently becoming more a house cat.
I am going to see if I can get a lawyer to block the hugs and kisses.

ReplyDeleteHyoomons are easily pleased, Lanie dear... if you give them just a little glimmer of getting what they want, but remember the adage "treat 'em mean to keep 'em keen" and don't go giving away those favours too readily. Meanwhile, lap up the warmth and Love in the moments you do let them have their way... you may find it gives you some strength and courage. Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
