Nature Friday - Where is the Post - by Tigris and Lady

Tigris: Ummmm, our nature Friday post is late. This is very rude.

Lady: It has been a gross, cold, rainy week. Now I don't have to be out all the time, I am not.  Also, I am not loving nature right now.

How can you not love nature?

Nature and I had a bit of a run in, literally on Tuesday morning. You see a deer ran in front of me when I was driving on the highway to work.  Unfortunately the deer was killed and my car was damaged. I wasn't hurt.

That is not good and what is worse is you missed the opportunity to serve me fresh venison.

Well, that is not happening. Now I am dealing with insurance and car repair and all the things and I am not loving nature much.

Well, you can love me instead.

That I can do!

Thanks to Rosy and Sunny for hosting this event.

  1. Poor deer, poor Lady car. Lucky Lady, and happy Tigris. Nature wins sometimes ... though all the poor critters of nature are slowly losing their happy places to live safely, roam and wander at will and it is so sad as they don't understand how to live in our crowded and dangerous world. We are glad you are safe and sound...

Tigris spoken like a true carnivore; ""That is not good and what is worse is you missed the opportunity to serve me fresh venison. ""

  4. Oh no! We're so sorry to hear Lady's car was crunched by that deer and we're sorry for the deer too. Hopefully next week you will have a better story for Nature Friday.

  6. Thank goodness you weren't hurt. Deer collisions are a real problem in our area of Ohio too.

  8. It's not fun when this happens, I am so sorry you are dealing with it all. None of us like hurting an animal while driving.

It does look like you got a good deal out of the trade Tigris!
