Mischief Monday - Inadequate by Styx

 Hi pals, hi pals,

The Lady person showed you last week how she got bird spikes to keep me off the banister. Her first attempt was inadequate.

I am a very agile cat and I learned I could jump across them to land on the post on the landing.

This was great until those spikes tripped me and I fell off.

I wasn't hurt at all because I am Super Styx.

However, the people were really freaked out so they put up more.

It looks sooooo ugly, but apparently safety first!

So far, this has been working. I miss my balance beam.

you pal, Super Styx who wants to walk the tightrope, who is sorry we didn't get to visit this weekend but Lady went away to Cheese Fest.

Now, Styx... you do realise that Lady is only doing this because she loves and cares about you, don't you??? No? Well, let me remind you (and you will get sick of hearing this) but curiosity killed the cat!!! Just because you got away unscathed once, doesn't mean you will again. We, your new and adoring public, support Lady and Man on this one! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  7. My experience with trying to make things safer for my kitties has been that what I did was make things more challenging...sort of like your lady. Please don't hurt yourself Styx - or try to hoodwink Styx into trying some stunts too !

  8. Maybe they could build you a low balance beam, one you could jump down from very easily without being hurt. I know how much a super cat needs a challenge.

  10. Sytx...you are giving your humans a crash course on living with Felines...who go where ever the please. SAFETY first indeed. Thankful you were not hurt.
Milky-Way was our first cat. He lived here 15 1/2 years. He was content to stay ground level never ever attempting all the acrobatics Angel Madi did just in her first few months here she taught us. She was fearless
