Last Friday after my failed visit to the vet, I had a failed visit to see Callie.
 |
What Cali, you want me to come and visit? |
 |
Man this snow is deep. |
.
 |
I am coming Callie! |
 |
Oh no, I am stuck. |
 |
Man to the rescue. |
 |
This is hard. |
 |
Who made the snow so deep? |
 |
Someone should make a path. |
 |
We are almost there. |
 |
Sorry Cali, I will have to come in spring! |
I didn't learn my lesson, later in the day, I got stuck outside our house behind the deck post. Lady had to come and rescue me and when she was trying to lift me up, I may have freaked out and snapped at her face as I threw myself backwards.
your pal, Phod, who didn't have a good winter week.
PS Go to Tuesday's post for our annual, when will the snow be gone contest!
maybe you can call the husky patrol for help... they can be the path makers with her sled...
ReplyDeletedarn that snow, it could just be no deeper than you legs to allow for walking.
ReplyDeleteWe both were having trouble in the deep snow this year too, Phod. Next time you should thank your Lady for helping you and not snap at her.

ReplyDeleteYou know Phoddy, I have been known to snap at those trying to help me when I have looked like I'm stuck; it's a little bit of pride, a little bit of "just don't touch me!", and a little bit of "I don't really need your help..." and add in a hunk of frustration that one is no longer as agile as one was.... well..... I'm sure Lady will forgive you. Just don't make a habit of it, 'kay? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Thank goodness the Man was there to help you out of your predicament, Phod! Your snow is really deep!
ReplyDeleteOh PHOD...if we had that much snow in Dixie we'd be snowed in til 'JunVember'.
ReplyDeleteThankful Man was available.
I'm sorry you were so scared you snapped at your precious Lady.
Hugs Cecilia
