Nature Friday - From Greece

One of the Lady and Man's stops in Greece was to an olive farm.

Pomegranate damp from a recent shower

A prickly pear - Lady can't stop singing the Bare Necessities when she sees this (when you pick a pawpaw or prickly pear and you pick a raw paw, next time beware, don't pick a prickly pear by the paw, when you pick a pear, use the claw . . ..)

Thanks to Rosy and the Boyz for hosting this fun blog hop. We hope be brought a little colour to everyone's day!

  1. that is so great to see.... we love pomegranates a lot... even when they are more grnades and ruin our kitchen and the clothes of the mama

  2. something new for me, I have not seen prickly pears like this or olives growing. I love olives of any kind. I had forgotten that song.

Oh I am a pomegranate power-eater!!! Would love to have a bush. Lovely eclectic mix today! YAM xx

  4. What beautiful pictures! We've never seen a prickly pear growing. How interesting!

  5. Wow! Those all look yummy! We have lots of grape farms in WNY, especially around the Fingerlakes, and several kinds of fruit grows near Lake Ontario.

  6. You made me giggle with the quote...Can lady say that 3 times fast?

    Lovely examples of nature.

  7. Great photos! Prickly pear is feral here....has taken over some areas.

  8. There were lots of things other than olives at that farm. Thanks for sharing with us.

  9. Pawsome pics today! We are always amazed to see how much things in different countries look the same as they do here!

...and Mama says thanks soooo much for the Jungle Book earworm BOL!

  13. Dear friends,

That does not look like here. Curious.

Also, please do not mention the booties to my person! I DO have booties! They are pink, and they are awful, and I hate them. I would rather stand in the snow and not move for hours and hours because there is frost between my toes than wear the booties!

Also, I like to eat pomegranates. Did your person get to eat these ones?
