While the movement in the RV was not ideal, we still had a very nice time camping. I camped a lot as a kid (think the old canvas tent camping), and I didn't love it, so I was a bit worried about how I would enjoy camping 20+ years later.

If RV driving wasn't so scary, I could imagine us doing more camping! In another lifetime perhaps!
I'm with you, I remembered the time in a canvas tent and the nights we had to spend in the car, because my father couldn't build up the tent LOL. I think camping with an RV has something... specially when you meet so much friends at the camp ground :O)

Looks like you had a great time! (Especially when you got burgers and hot dogs!)
ReplyDeleteIt looks as you had a blast! RV's are a much easier way to camp (except for the driving part - but you'd get used to that with time). I'm glad you got to meet and visit with so many Blogville friends.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you went! Looks like it was so much fun! DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteMommy hasn't gone camping in furever. When she was a kid she always ended up with a rock under her spot on the ground under the tent.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun. You brave souls posing with a bear!Lily & Edward
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure about the whole "camping" thing, but I am pretty sure I could handle the snuggling in bed and the napping part!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
Looks like you were happy campers this time around, at least once you got there!
ReplyDeleteI have never been camping 'cos Gail says it's only enjoyable in a dry climate…
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
I don't mind tent camping except at breakfast time when it's raining, how can I have my hot breakfast with coffee!
ReplyDeleteSHE used to camp in a tent years ago and quite like it. Now thinks an RV that doesn't leak might be the go. Sounds like BAR was loads of fun.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have an RV; after a while we got tired of traveling with it so parked it at one campground. We spent almost every weekend there for a few years, and the dogs loved it! Eventually we got bored with it though, but it was sure fun for a while! I could never do the tent thing though, that's TOO rough for me!
ReplyDeleteSeems like it was a good trip all in all. We hope there is another that maybe we could make it to.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
BOL Did all 4 of y'all sleep in that small bed. I'm glad you all had fun.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,

We have a wheelie house like Murphy and Stanley, that pulls behind Dad's pickup. Bailey & Hazel have been camping but I have not yet - hopefully next month!
