While we have adjusted to a life with a cat, I really miss them. I still go to check/clean the litter every few weeks. I would get another one in a heartbeat and when I read stories of cats being found in yards etc. I am hopeful that one will find its way to our yard and need a home. I think that is about the only way I will convince the Man to get another one at this time. (There are lots of outdoor cats around, so it is possible).
Today I remember my two cats with love and affection, even if I really don't miss the litter (next cat is being toilet trained).

Sorry Man doesn't want another cat. Hope one realizes what a find your home is and wanders your way soon.
ReplyDeleteHope that some nice kitty wanders up to your house soon. We have just the opposite deal here. We are without a dog and the Mom really misses having a dog. You all have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteBOW WOW, I love my cat bros and can't imagine life without them. I'm so sorry you lost your kitty.
ReplyDeleteYour buddy,
Christmas
Momma is always grumbling about the litter boxes, but I know she'll be sad when we don't have a cat in the house anymore.
ReplyDeleteOh sweet Angel kitties...19 and 20 years. Proof positive you gave them excellent care and love!
ReplyDeleteHugs madi and mom
My aunt got her second cat that way... weeks after they lost their Felix, a cat suddenly appeared and this guy acted as if he always was there... and so she got Morris, who was with her for 12 years... maybe it will happen to her again and it will happen to you... cats are full of wisdom and magic and they have a sense for miracles...
ReplyDeleteAww. Nin and Baggy look like they were such wonderful kit-cats!!!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
I like the new look! And a happy belated birthday!
ReplyDeleteAfter over 38 years of cat ownership (during which time we've had many, many cats), we've decided that the current gang of nine is it for us. We're retired, I'm handicapped, and we won't be able to deal with the mess or the maintenance much longer. Still, I can't help but get a little choked up when I realize we'll be empty-nesters in the not-too-distant future.
Your two little angels were beautiful, by the way.
Awww, y'all need anudder kitty!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you can convince the Man to get you another kitty. Your kitties were beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHari om
ReplyDeleteIt has been years sknce the Js left me and they are still missed. Blessings for thd memoru, YAM XX
Too bad we did not know about this cuz we bet you could have "found" one at the BAR!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Awwww, they were such beautiful kitties. We can only imagine how much you still miss them but remember...they live on in your heart always.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's been a year already. Paws crossed that a kitty will show up at your house.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
pees: Sorry but mom said I couldn't ship Shit off to your house. I still hope a kitty finds its way to your home.
I had cats for 30 years, too.... I miss them... but Lilly won't accept one, so, we wait.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that both Baggy and Nin lived such long lives. We can't have a cat because the MAN is allergic to them.
ReplyDeleteThey look like twins, I know you miss them. Mom still talks about Dietzy sometimes like he is still here. She says Cotton has a tiny face, but the truf is that Dietzy had a big chubby face. Dad called today and said there are now four babies under the garden shed at the church next door, we are giving them directions to your house, ...do they need money to cross the border. stella rose
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful kitties who had some long and wonderful lives. Mom has never had a kitty and doesn't think we would do well with one INSIDE the house. But we still love all our virtual kitty pals.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
WE hope one that needs you will come along and the man won't be able to resist

Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
Gorgeous picture! 20 years is amazing! The right one will come along soon enough.
ReplyDeleteWe could send you one of the Front Yard Cats...BOL! Now....who's to say if a cat is SAID to be found in your yard....heeheehee!
ReplyDeletePurrs to you as you remember Nin and Bagheera today. Who knows? Another kitty may grace your life before you know it! :)
ReplyDeleteSending (((hugs)))), I know it has to be hard. I am certain when it is meant to be another kitty will find you! catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteThey were beautiful. I couldn't survive one day without a cat.
ReplyDeleteCats were always my first love, and I really should be "the crazy cat lady" instead of the dog one. But I know what you mean about cats. I cannot remember a time in my life when I didn't have a cat as part of it. I've no doubt one that needs you, will find its way to you!
ReplyDeleteWe're so sorry about Nin and Bagherra. I have had my Star and Saphira for almost 10 years, and I can't bare to know that one day they too will die. I still miss my Nico who died almost 2 years ago. We hope another cat enters your life when you're ready as they are amazing. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI like your header by the way.
DeleteSuch gorgeous cats they were......and we have NO DOUBT that one lucky cat (or two) will find their way into your lives again - things have a way of happening when you REALLY want them to (!!!)........cats are wonderful - I ought to know (hahaha).
ReplyDeleteLove, Sammy
We hope a cat finds it's way into your home, we know you would give it lots of love. We thinks Nin and Bagherra will help one find you when the time is right.
ReplyDeleteDear Lee and Phod's Lady,
ReplyDeleteWe are down from three Cats to one Cat. We are also down from three Chickens to none Chickens. (A raccoon came and snacked last weekend.) Our people say that our house and our yard feel empty, but I do not think this is true! Ojo and I will just be busy and loud enough to make up for it! Also we are very good at getting under the feet. So I'm not sure why they're complaining.
However, we do hope a Cat finds you soon, because you would be a Very Good Place for a Cat to live. Our paws are crossed!
Licks,
Cobi
My hubby doesn't want any more cats after Sam either, and I just can't imagine a life without cats.
