Last week we showed the new mask we got on our travels.
Madi asked us if we had ever shown our other masks, and the answer was no. We decided to show them off today. It has been a cold and boring week for the dogs, lol!

Roatan, Honduras - A trip Lady took with Aunt C and Grammie |
|
Guatemala - Same trip with Aunt C and Grammie. Scariest place Lady has been. We needed an armed escort for our tour. |
|
Cuba - The Man and Uncle Chris went there |
|
Tokyo, Japan - This is one of the Lady's favourite things in the whole house |
|
Mexico - Lady bought this on a trip Man spent 5 days being sick. She was proud to barter all by herself. |
|
Italy |
|
Spain |
|
Grand Cayman |
|
Vancouver. Lady was there for a presentation and was nervous. It was her first professional presentation. The Man bought her this mask of strength and courage to help |
|
Bali |
We hope you enjoyed our masks and one fan!

ReplyDeleteLOVED the fan - I had several, but years have taken their toll... Whilst individually, the masks would be a challenge to my psyche, I totally understand the collection of them... The Guatamalan is the one I find most appealing; perhaps because you had to 'dodge bullets' to get it!!! YAM xx
I would find those too eerie to have those hanging in my house but they are certainly interesting
ReplyDeleteToo cool!!!
ReplyDeleteOHHHHHHHHHHHH MY CATS OHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY DOGS
ReplyDeleteMom was about to say Cuba and Guatemala were her favorites cause she loves the natural wood but then Spain and Grand Canyon popped in the Reds!! Italy is beautiful too that looks like ceramic!! Japan is most interesting!! Thank you lady 87 times for show casing these beauties.AND her love of masks always make it easy for folks to buy things for her. Mom is like that with anything that is or has hummingbirds or cats on it...either make purrfect gifts
Hugs madi and Mom
Beautiful masks - what a cool thing to collect!! My Mom and Dad went to 87 bazillion mask shops in Venice when they were there - such creative designs and colors - seems that's a thing that's true of masks from EVERYWHERE!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
Love them!! They are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! That is really interesting. I bet you could have fun at Halloween with those masks

We love the one from Japan as well. Dad travels all over the world for his job. He has one, and I don't know where it came from, but first time Mom was in the basement getting some clothes out of the washer, she looked up in the near dark and saw it and about jumped three feet in the air.

Wow, those are really cool. I was all ready to agree the Japan one is the coolest... but I also really like that one from Mexico. Great reminders of your travels!
ReplyDeleteLuv them all!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cool! I think the Tokyo one is my favorite too!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting collection. Our mom says she wouldn't want to go on a trip where you need an armed guard. That sounds scary.
ReplyDeleteLove Spain and Italy! The Japanese one reminds me of Mulan.
ReplyDeleteWow! Those were very interesting and amazing. What a great collection!
