Another one bites the dust

Miss Hailey Bug, of Ottawa, is under investigation for another death. Pink Baby was found with her guts out in a suburban Ottawa home. Miss Bug, who was seen with the guts said she found them and was taking them to the officials. The investigation continues.

This is my friend Hugo. Even though I hadn't seen him in 3 years, he clearly remembered me and remembered what a good belly scratch I gave as he kept bugging me for them!



Bali is full of dogs (that look stray but may actually be pets). Everyone has one. They are all about the size of Lee. It made me miss my girl!

Rain, Rain, Go away

Not because I don't like walking in the rain or am bothered by getting wet. It is because I am tired of wiping muddy puppy paws! Thank goodness we don't have carpet any more.

A good role model?

One of my friend’s ,Cathy, asked if she could bring her son over to be around my dogs as he has developed a fear of them. Besides, coming to my house is cheaper than going to a petting zoo!

Gemi and Nin were great. Lee, maybe wasn’t the best role model. Not because she was aggressive or anything but because she barked and barked and barked and it was very loud!

I am not sure Graeme likes dogs any better!

A New Toy Box

As I have entered my mid-30s and have not been a student for nearly 4 years (which after 15 years of post secondary education is a life time) and I have a career (meaning I actually make more money than I need to pay tuition), it has been my goal to slowly create a more adult home.

Another step was taken this week when I replaced a white plastic laundry basket with a new toy box.

We will see how long this lasts. Miss Bug saw me take toys from it and then was trying to get into it! Maybe she will forget!

A nice spring day

Between rain showers we had a beautiful day. The pups and I took some time to play in the backyard.

I remember a time I had grass and not as many holes in the yard. I wonder if that will ever happen again as the owner of a Hailey Bug.

Recently, while at the dog park, I was reminded of the worse things my dogs could be doing. So when my dogs are misbehaving I will try and think, “At least my dog(s) don’t”

Attack other dogs and make them bleed when at the park.

Roll in the mud until they are completely dirty.

Obsessively jump up on other people at the park.

Mistake people for trees and pee on their legs.

(Do parents of human children make these kinds of lists?)
