We both want to use the raised feeder now. We hate the food on the stool. The Lady and Man decided before purchasing a second to see if we could share.
We can. Now if only she would stop taking our pictures and let us eat!

Why are the people eating things from a treat bag? |

Still don't like it, but I will eat it! |
Pals,
Thanks for all your ideas last week on dealing with a picky eater. I had extensive dental work in January and will be going to the vet in another month for a follow up. Lady doesn't think it is dental, because I will happily eat hard treats, just not kibble.
However, Lady has found a way to get me to eat my kibble. She bought us some soft food. As long as she mixes softie in, I will eat the kibble. Sometimes I even eat kibble she didn't get softy on. I have been a super eater this past week and my people are happy.
Phod loves the softie too!
So at least for now, with several different kinds, I am happy to eat.
The once would eat anything and now picky, Lee
Finally, dinner was served. Totally worth the wait and work!
A very happy Phod
On Sunday we had an early Hanukkah dinner. Callie's people came over. She stayed home with her cats. They have decided to keep all 3 kittens. They are getting along
Lady forgot to take pictures, but here are some of chief Lee before the party began.
We were so excited that our Costco had Advent Calendars for us. We had never had them before! Lady was away December 1 and 2, so we doubled up to start to catch up but now Lady says one a day.

We are delighted |

Note - we didn't have to wear hats, the paper dog did instead! |
We are very much looking forward to tasty December!
One of the evenings where Man was feeling human again, he made us play 2 dish monty.
The Man was very disappointed that in general we selected where we saw him put the treat and didn't follow where it was. We were not disappointment because we got a lot of cookies.
Dear Pals,
Thank you for all your kind gotcha day wishes, and especially comments about cake and ice cream because as you will see, they helped land me some awesome treats.
First, I got a little chicken at dinner. I love chicken, but it makes me itchy so I can't have much.
Next up was dessert, vanilla ice cream! We have only had this a few times, so it took me a few minutes to decide it wasn't poison and I could eat it.
What is this and why are you singing so much Lady? |
It is pretty good! |
Last week, during a few days off, the Lady and Man left us alone in the house for 87 million hours and were banging around in the garage. Surprising there were few HBO words. When they were done, they let me go out an inspect their work. They had assembled the Man's new bbq, and early birthday present to himself. It replaces a bbq that is like 15 years old.
Now it is together, get cooking Man. I will take 2 of whatever you are grilling.

Nothing tastes better on a hot summer day, after assisting with gardening, than a drink from Lady's glass of water. It is important to stay hydrated!
We stopped by Callie's to drop a little something off to her Lady for her upcoming birthday (as the people will be away). We left with:
This is maple syrup from 3 different batches from the trees behind our house. Lady and Man like the darkest stuff. The darkest here would not be sellable because it is too dark and not clear. Lady would argue this is the best stuff! Lady thinks this is the best maple syrup she has ever tasted. We are lucky to have such generous neighbours.
Lady and Man did let us lick the plates after they had their pancakes!
We have our peeps well trained. On the rare occasion they both leave the house, we get a greenie as they leave.
We sit very well to wait for them to get ready to go.
Look we are sitting so cutely! |
Hurry up, waiting is too hard! It looks so good! |
You aren't ready yet? |
I didn't even have to get up and do tricks for the first one! |
It was still a little warm |
It was very tasty |
Phod: Why are you offering me poison? (not this is how he reacts to all new treats) |
P: I don't know, it could be non-food like that marshmallow you offered me 7 years ago. |
P: Ok, it smells acceptable, I will try it! |
We are funny dogs and don't always eat our breakfast first thing (we use to, but now we don't always).
Sometimes, when we do eat, we eat each other's food. This makes Lady laugh because it is the exact same food! It tastes better in the other dish.
We are not spoiled at all, nope.
I would like some cheese on that |
The service is slow here. |
Not sure about the lettuce. |
