Trick or Treat

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Today we join The LLB Gang for their annual No Tricks, Just Treats Blog Hop! Every year they ask us to share what we are doing to help animals in need. 

Ummm, I think at this moment I am an animal in need of rescue from a terrible costume.

We make cash donations when we make purchases at the pet store, when pals are fundraising or in memory of pals called to the bridge. In lieu of mailing holiday cards, we pick an animal charity to donate to.

I was a shelter dog. 

Lady supports some young adults who are volunteering at a local animal sanctuary, Big Sky Ranch, every week. 

This is as good as it gets when we are so angry about wearing a costume. We need to up our price for this!

Lady also loves to visit the Feline Cafe and our peeps attend the SafePet Ottawa fundraiser. These are some of the ways we help.

Happy Birthday to those who share this special day with Phod, including Auntie K, and Cody.

For each individual fur pal who participated, Lady is donating $1 to the Ontario SPCA. For every comment made in the next 48 hours, Lady is giving 50 cents.

Next we have Sammy. In his youth a hobby was flying up and down the stairs as fast as he could. He would suddenly stop by hooking his claws in the stair and let his body swing to the step below. 

His mom says he has "the devil in his eyes" when he is fooling around!
