We had a play date with Callie recently and it was a lot of fun! (By play date we mean we were out and Callie came over lol). We also mean Phod played like a puppy and Lee watched!

Today we shine the light on pet adoption. There are so many lovely pets available in your local shelters.

We both spent time in a shelter. We both were removed from the shelter by rescues and ended up adopting our people.

If you are considering a new pet, please consider a local shelter or rescue. We rescue pups can make wonderful family members. When possible please adopt. Lady is very worried that all the pandemic dogs are soon going to end up in shelters. If it isn't possible to adopt an animal and you are able to support your shelter in other ways, please do.

Tree Time - by Lee

 Lady is working out of the house about 3 days a week now so Man and I have created a new lunchtime routine. Go out, pup around and then sit under our maple tree.

One day last week, when Lady was home I let her join me. She laid in the grass with me. During belly rub time,  managed to scratch her under the eye with my back foot. So a good time was had by all! 

 

Mischief Monday - Limited Precious Time - by Phod

 Dear pals,

Apparently I am not as young as I use to be and am more prone to getting stiff and sore. A few weeks ago, they say  I had too much outdoor Precious time and was left a little lame. I can't imagine the soreness has anything to do with my beloved ball. Outdoor Precious was kept from me, pills were shoved down my throat to help with the pain. For a week I rested.

Imagine how excited I was when my peeps said because I hadn't limped for a few days, I could have some Precious time.

This joy was short lived because I was limpy again. But for less time. Currently the Man and Lady are debating if/when I should get outdoor Precious time. Lady is thinking I can have her today with now throwing and running. 

Growing old is not for the meek!

Also, Lady has a new obsession. One of her goals had been to plant a sunflower. Well, some of them made it and she is obsessed with them. You would think she had done more than throw some seeds in the ground. There may be more pictures in the coming weeks.
