Michief Monday - The Pet Sitter

 Dear pals,

While Lady and Man were off adventuring we had to endure the pet sitter. We think this photographic evidence will support our claims that this was a very hard time for us.

First we had to ensure the 1.5 hour car ride to her house.

Are we there yet?

Then we had to share the house with the sitter's dog Laddie.

Then we had to sleep on Laddie's beds.

Sometimes we had to sleep on the couch.

We hd to endure love.

And more love.

There was more sleeping on comfy beds.

It was so rough, some dog, whose name starts with Zay - tried to dig his way out by digging up all of the sitter's bulb.

As you can see, it was really hard. (Wednesday we will share some more of our hardships in pictures).

your pals, Lee and Phod

Editor's note: While Lee and Phod may feel hard done by, Lady and Man had 0 concerns about the care the pups received with our most wonderful pet sitter. If anything they worry they got better care!

Mischief Monday - Did You Miss Us?

 Dear pals,

Hi! Did you miss us?

We have so many adventures to tell you about, but it has to wait another week, because Lady is too busy now that she is back (work, tickets to shows, painting classes, dinners with friends).

We will give you a 2 cent update with details to come.

We were pretty good at the dog sitters and not too hard done by.

Lady and Man and Uncle Chris had a wonderful time away. We are going to let Lady have one day a week on the blog starting next week to tell you about it. Lady and Man got really sick when they came back. Man was really, really sick. Lady was moderately sick. This made catching up to life and work harder. Everyone is on the mend now.

We just wanted to let you know we are all well and hope to be back to our regular schedule next week.

Your pals, who miss you all, Lee and Phod

Pizza Please

Pizza has always been one of Lee's favourite treats. It was our angel Loki's as well. Towards the end of his life we ordered him a small cheese pizza and tried to serve it whole. He had no idea what to do. We had to cut it up for him. I don't think, if in the same position Lee would have the same problem!

Librela and Us

Phod has been taking his shot for almost a year and a half and Lee for a few months.  We have both been lucky that it seems to be helpful. Besides not being uncomfortable, Phod finds it easier to get up and down. He will even occasionally get on the furniture and he is more likely to do the stairs.

Lee is less tippy. She runs more. She also gets on the furniture more often.

Lady says the draw back of less pain is we do want to explore more. Exploring more means trying to sneak next door, because we have just decided this is part of our yard. Hailey especially loves to track the 3 cats who live next door and some of the many, many strays around. Callie's people think it is funny to watch Lady and Man chase us around their yard. Sometimes they come out to laugh at her!

Going down the road to Callie's. Lady yelling "unsanctioned visit" didn't help.

Coming out of the bush between our houses on the road, hoping to give Lady the brush off.

Lady standing blocking the path between our houses singing - stop in the name of love

We know this treatment may not be the best for everyone. And while Lady gets a bit annoyed with us, her main goal for our lives right now is quality of life, and this is improving it. We feel lucky to have this option.
