The New Rug - by Phod

 Dear pals,

Lady upset my life by moving things around last week. You see, she used her Christmas money from Grammie and the Big Guy to buy a Ruggable rug for the front door aka my guard station. I over heard her say she was very excited to have a washable rug for this space, because my being on it so much, makes it stinky. I can't imagine I would be making a rug or mat stinky.

It took me a couple days, but I did decide it was an acceptable place to sit and monitor the street. I do not take change well in my old age.

Lady and Man picked one of the rugs from their Star Wars Collection.

See if you look close, you can see the X-wing fighter. If you aren't a huge fan, you may just see a cool pattern and that is ok too!

Thankful Thursday -Thanks To Our Blogville Friends

We participated this year in the Blogville Christmas exchange and today would like to thank our pals. 

This year, Rosy got Hailey's name. Hailey was very excited when not one but 3 presents came from Rosy.

Here is a dramatic recreation to the arrival of the first gift. 

In case the recreation doesn't work, here it is:

A lovely new magnet for Lady's new car. She loves it and says it is words to live by! (wag more, bark less).

The other packages had to wait until Christmas, but worth the wait.

In the first on was a dragon. 

Hailey was so excited she was a blur when taking off with it!

Then there were a bag of treats for Lee and Rosy is so thoughtful she sent a bag for Phod.

Lady forgot to take a picture of the bags. We are ok with that cause she got pictures of the most important stuff, us getting said treats. 

Thank you Rosy! (And yes we shared with cousin Emma who is pictured above to the left of Phod). 

Ruby, another friend for California, got Phod's name, and she made him the happiest dog ever! She sent 2 new Precious' (the balls) that are clean so no reason they can't be in the house, a new disk and yummy treats. 

A new precious just for me! Lady and Man are letting me have one in the house at a time. 

Her note said it was in case he lost things in the snow. Just a bit ago, Phod did loose a disc and Lady bought a second saying that was it for the year . . . then it rained and the missing disc was found, so now Phod is set with 3 discs to get him through the long winter.

Thanks Ruby, it was very thoughtful of you.

We are very lucky pups to have such thoughtful friends!

Love From Across The Pond

Hailey was very excited to receive a Valentine's Day package from her boyfriend Easy. It arrived the day after the snow of the century.

Hailey did a pawsome job at opening it the package. 

Inside was yummy treats, a heart toy and a new bear

Thankful Thursday - Best Boyfriend by Hailey

Everyone, I wanted you to know that I have the bestest boyfriend in the world.   Easy is my very handsome and thoughtful French boyfriend who sent me wonderful birthday gifts.

Isn't Easy so handsome???

First Lady put the package down so we could give it a good sniff. Being a good sister I let Phody sniff too.

Then our Lady opened it and took the stuff away so she could get a freakin' picture (her priorities are wrong).

Easy even thought of our Lady and included a little something for her:

Lady then let me have a little sniff time with the mouse toy. Easy sent it to keep our mice away! 

Because it is special I am not allowed to dead it. I do get very excited every time Lady turns it on. It makes beautiful music.

Thank you to the most handsome and kind boyfriend!  The treats are very tasty in my belly!

Thank You Murphy - by Zaphod

Hi everyone. I got mail from my pal Murphy. He got my name in the Blogville gift exchange. Lady let me open it early because she said if we wait until Christmas, cousin Emma will steal everything. (Lady says she will put my new gifts away so that can't happen).

First, I gave the package a good sniff and check out to see what the best way to open it. I let Hailey sniff it too because she let me sniff the package from Easy.

Next, Hailey completely stole it and tried to open it and Lady took it from her and said that not everything was hers.

I got a little piece open and started to pull out my gift.

Hailey kept trying to take my stuff like she always does help. I kept asking her to go away.

Finally, I carried it over to my bed to finish opening.

Look what Murphy sent me!!!!! 3 wonderful toys. The one in the middle helped out the ASPCA. A toy that helps animals, what could be better!?!?!?!?!?!?

Thank you Murphy, I love my new toys!

And I am even sharing with my sister because she made me because I love her so much and wanted to.

Finally We Got Our Christmas Gifts

I decided to wait until we were a 2 dog house again to give the gifts (with hopes that it would take 2 dogs longer to destroy them than 4).

Here is how the pups did:

Hailey got a new piggie, which she promptly took and snuggled with by the fire.

Phod got an indoor ball which he promptly demanded we play fetch with

We also got this slingshot which is really for Phod. While Phod may have gotten 2 toys and Hailey only one, Hailey eats way more cookies than Phod, so it all works out!

We were matched up with Dory, Bilbo, Jakey and Arty for the Blogville Christmas exchange. (You can visit there blog here if you don't know them). Since Tendra and Barley are joining us for Christmas, we thought it would be more enjoyable to open the gift a little early, so with Dory's permission we opened it Sunday.

 Lady says she loves how easy they are to wash when the pups are done. The pups say it is great how fun they are and they give us treats!
