Well it is fair to say, last week was something! Besides work craziness, supporting 2 friends with children having mental health crisis', Lady's car transmission started acting up (garage one couldn't find the problem so it is at the dealer to hopefully sort this out, and probably wrongly remove the winter tires and put on the summer ones). Then the weight of the snow cracked our deck! Getting is repaired is a spring project. Lady and Man will look into composite.
If this just wasn't enough, the snow continued to fall.
Will it be warm enough over the next week for Beau to have the correct guess for snow to be gone on the 12th? Here is the forecast for the next week. . . . Stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteDeary me, that was quite the week, indeed... look at all that white stuff... struth.... sending wishes for improvements all round! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Wow! Beau should have guessed longer out. this has been a crazy weather year so far... it might heat up like we are and melt it all, so still a chance to win.. so sorry about car and deck, always something to steal our hard earned dollars
ReplyDeleteThat's awful about your deck and your transmission. We hope they both get fixed and not cost you a fortune.
ReplyDeleteWhen it rains it pours, or rather when it snows, it keeps snowing! Awful about your deck, and the car, too! (But, June might just be the correct one guessing the snow hang around til the 4th of July ... sorry ...)
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Sounds like Lady and Man may need another vacation...from the craziness and the snow!

Oh dear! We're glad the deck didn't crash down with anybody on it. At least the daytime temps will be above freezing but we think our guess is a safer bet than Beau's right now.
ReplyDeleteOh my, you have a string of bad luck and weather, I hope both improve.
ReplyDeleteHope you get a break from dat snow soon!
