Dear pals,
Last week was a very stressful week for us.
It started on Sunday when Uncle Chris and Emma arrived. This isn't unusual. What was unusual was that on Monday, Emma stayed with us after the Lady left for work and Uncle Chris and the Man left and only Uncle Chris came back.

Uncle Chris shared his pizza lunch |
Then 87 million hours later, Uncle Chris left and came back with the Man. The Man smelt funny. We did not like it. Lady explained that the Man had hernia surgery and he was going to be ok. The Man spent most of the week in bed, while the Lady worked and tried to keep the house running. She was very busy and only a little cranky. (Lady is not the world's greatest nurse and in fairness to her to get it all done was getting up between 4:30-5 every day and working a full day!)
So the Man keeps recovering and the Lady keeps working/running the house. We hope in another week or so things will be more back to normal.
we send lots of potp for aspeedy recover to your Man and we send power to your Lady for managing da whole furmily thing.
ReplyDeleteso glad your uncle could come and stay with you and that your man is doing better each day. poor mama, be sure to help her as much as you can....
ReplyDeleteThe Man could really use some good nursing right now. I've been reliably informed that I'm a pawesome nurse, so I'd be happy to come up.
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear your Man had to go to the hospital and we have our paws crossed that he continues to feel better.

ReplyDeleteNow you don't go taxing The Man too much till all his stitchy bits are properly healed, inside and out, y'hear. You got pizza bones for lunch from U Chris? Not all bad news then!!! (I like Emma's jacket.) I'll send a bit of POTP Man's way and some energy vibes to Lady. Hugs and wag,s YAM-aunty xxx
Oh dear, sounds like a challenging week in the Hailey and Phod household. We do hope Man is healing rapidly from his surgery and Lady is hanging on in there...
ReplyDeleteYikes I know about hernia surgery...B had double hernia surgery back in the late 80's way before
ReplyDeletelaparoscopic was invented. Then about 15 years ago he had a DO over on one side but it was a breeze compared with the first time. BUT no matter how it is done you are cut and have to heal from the inside out. So gentle hugs to Man and to Lady the nurse.
Hugs HiC
