We are joining Rosy and the Boyz for Nature Friday.
We thought it would be fun to share one of the trees from our front yard at the peak of summer so we can watch it change in the coming weeks.
When do we think it will turn to yellow or red or orange? We are hoping we have another 5 or 6 weeks of green!
we say in 3 weeks you can see colors like in a painting by bob ross..;o)
ReplyDeleteSeptember 18 the leaves will begin to turn ...
ReplyDeleteWe hope it stays green for a long time.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you have lots of green leaf time left...but we can't wait to see what colors we'll see!
ReplyDeleteOur front yard tree is already starting to turn reddish, but that's because she's a red elm! BOL.
ReplyDeletehope you get your 6 weeks or more of GREEN. it is a pretty tree.
ReplyDeleteWe think the leaves will turn yellow but we hope they will stay green for awhile yet.
ReplyDeleteLee and Phod...frankly I'm looking forward to the day when our leaves start to change. It has been a most miserable hot summer. Lovely photo against the sky

ReplyDeleteIt will be fun to watch this with you... meanwhile, up on Kilbride hill, one or two bursts of orange are already present!!! YAM xx
Love the idea of watching your tree change colour with you.
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks great. Around here it's been so dry that some of our trees are already loosing some leaves.
ReplyDeleteWill be interesting to mark the passage of summer to autumn with the tree!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! Ours stay green til November here but it will be cool to see how fast ya'lls change.

We bet it changes to orange...but not too soon!
ReplyDeleteNot to rain on your parade because I know that white stuff follows afterward, but there are 36 days to the official arrival of autumn. 🌳
ReplyDeleteNow that a handsome tree.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
It's a lovely tree, and I hope **we** all have a many more weeks before trees start to turn. I've seen geese overhead, so I know the change of the season is coming. It's also dark at 5 AM when I let the dogs out, it wasn't that long ago, it was already light. Summer has gone too fast!
