I had a Samoyed that shed like crazy when I was in grad school. One of the family members took up a bunch of the fur and put it in a shopping bag and taped it to the steering wheel of my 1985 Buick with the words "Drivers Side Hair Bag" on it.
Bwahaha, German Shedder. Too funny. The mornings have that crispness that shows up with autumn. With all the 90's we've had this summer, I'm looking forward to a nice long autumn.
wow that makes a good scarf ;O) is fall on the way? yay!
ReplyDeleteOMD, that's so much furs! My angel cousin Frankie was a German shepherd, and you could build a whole new dog with his shedding!
ReplyDeleteOur pawrents remember those days when they used to have GSD's too.
ReplyDeleteWow - that's a lot of fur, Phod!
ReplyDeleteWow Phod...you have enough extra fur for a Mini Phod!

I never knew that dogs actually shed more in the fall than even in the spring! I didn't learn until we had golden retrievers. :)
ReplyDeleteI know people who spin and make there own yarn. Something made out of doggie wool.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
German Shredder...I'm giggling!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was funny...

We just learned something from your friend Jan K in the comments above.
ReplyDeleteOMD do you have to vacuum everyday now?
But it's still August!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you should have pugs! ALL YEAR. (and yes, we had Ranger the GSD for a long time)
ReplyDeleteRoxy is an all-year shedder. We think Phod may need that fur with winter coming.
ReplyDeleteOut with the old, in with the new!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a whole 'nother dog!
