It only took a few minutes for my Water Phod (I am sure he was born under a water sign) to realize this was a good thing.
We are not sure if the water was too cold, if he didn't like how he fit, or if he was just playing because he was in and out and in and out. He had a great time playing. From rolling Precious in the Chunnel to Phenny and Nelly's, quickly made the water very dirty.
Stay cool and have a drink! |
We know many of you were dealing with extreme heat too. Hope you stayed cool!
what a good idea... we help our two non-bathing pups with frozen yogurt and ice cubes... let's say they take a bath from the inside LOL
ReplyDeleteYou look very happy to be in your pool, Phod, and we see Hailey rolling around in the grass not far from you!
ReplyDeleteI paid 8 dollars for one of these and Big will not even LOOK at it... I had hoped to get him used to water so he would go in our pool. he will not even walk through a puddle..

ReplyDeleteWTG Phod - you are totally surfing!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx (whose angel Jade was a hydrophobe and like Big Boy, hated even puddles. So she got frozen wally melon and Nanners and she was in heaven with those!)
I repeat what YAM said WTG Phod!!
ReplyDeleteOMDs I didn't realize you don't have central a/c. Bless your hearts. I don't know how you managed without completely having meltdowns. At least your tile floors might have helped some.
Today is our first day in 10 days w/o 95 or higher and triple digit heat index but we have a/c.
Here's to August being better for all
Hugs HiC
So nice to see you in your new pool Phod! We sure hope it cools off for you soon!

I should tell my peeps it's time to get out my little wading pool too. I love to play in the water! Stay cool Phod!
ReplyDeleteMom has tried us with a small pool a few times, and none of us want to do any more than drink it. On the other hand, Misty and Timber splash all the water from their water bowls on the tile floor and then lie down in it:)

Neither of us like the water but we see Hailey rolling in the grass. It must be something with those black dogs because Millie does the exact same thing. We still think those two must be distant cousins.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to see Phod having fun in (and out of) the pool.
ReplyDeleteNot Bertie's cup of tea, but then he's never experienced that sort of heat.
Stay cool.
Cheers, Gail.
Stay cool. We usually hibernate in the heat. At the moment we are having lovely daytime temps, but we know that heat isn't too far away.
ReplyDeletewe love seeing you Phod enjoying so much fun in your pool. Now you can invite all your friends for a pool party. We hope the weather gets cooler soon for you. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.

What fun!! It's the perfect way to cool off!! But it has been too hot in Virginia for the dogs to be outside for long. Here in Tennessee where we are until Thursday, I was looking for a sweatshirt to wear, I was cold - It was cloudy, rainy and only about 70 degrees.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some happy pouch
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Mom and Dad got out our pool. I Mabel am not a fan of water and apparently neither is Hilda. They even tried throwing a ball in there which we did try to get. We are in a heat faze now - staying in the 90's

Wish my crew liked water-they just give me the stink eye when they're hot (they probably know we have AC and want to lord it over me).
