This is one of the blankets we originally got for trips to the kennel. During the first trip, a mad Hailey started taking it apart. It now lives in my office as a spot for the pups to rest while I am working. Last week, during a work at home day I heard the faint sound of 'rip' and looked over to see my girl taking more stuffing out. I let her, it makes her happy. This blanket was from a thrift shop and cost less than $10. It is hers. Eventually she will have taken all the stuffing and we will throw it out and get a new one!
the faint sound of rip is a daily song here... seems phenny learnt a lot from professor lee...;O))))

Oh, oh! A blanket is one of those squeaky toys that's not a squeaky toy. It took me a long time to tell the difference. Same thing with pillows and doggie beds, slippers, shoes, and ghostwriter's dollie collection. Oh, and so is that big fuzzy squeaky toy that looks like a cocker spaniel sitting up on the highest shelf! I keep singing to it, but it won't come down.
ReplyDeleteSure sounds like fun to me!!

I always hate to hear the dreaded "rip" from one of the boys. It is usually Pierre and a toy. They are pretty good about their beds now that they are older. Enjoy yourself, Hailey!
ReplyDeleteMy pigbro loves to shred his blankets especially if they have stuffing in them😉

ReplyDeleteWow, unstuffing is one of the bestest parts of our jobs! BWAR HAR HAR Looks like a comfy blanket and I like thrift shop toys too.
ReplyDeleteWe guess you don't like that stuffing in there, Hailey. ;)

Shredders are so enduring.
ReplyDeleteI love that you just let her have fun with that! Dogs seem to get such enjoyment out of ripping and de-stuffing, and I think we should just let them have at it!
