The colour is coming!
We had record setting temperatures - they type that are a little alarming living with client change last week. For the first time ever in October, we had not one, but 3 consecutive days where the daytime temperature was over 30C/86F. These are summer temperatures. We want for a hike in the sugar bush one day after work.

On leash only because he wouldn't stop eating poop |
There are some spooky things starting to appear in the bush. More on that in the coming days.
Lady is sad to report her sunflowers got too heavy.
They brought joy while they lasted, just like the deer and turkies by the apple tree brought joy (and maybe some barking).
We hope you enjoyed some of the autumn happening around our place.
wow your land is golden now.. how beautiful... not much happened here..bob ross had no time by now to swing the brush ;O)))
ReplyDeleteBig changes in the leaf colours this week. The southern part of the UK has been experiencing worrying warm temperatures this October. Scotland, not quite so much.

ReplyDeleteGlorious!!! Yeah, been strangly mild here too, for October. Thought today that feels like it might be about to change... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
they are all beautiful, my favorites are both week 2 and the walk after dinner is awesome. those trees, OH MY.... Phod, did you teach Beau your trick? 4 days ago he started eating his OWN poop and now I have to follow closely and pick up. 3 years, never did that. I have to blame someone. BOL
ReplyDeleteI remember flying into the Ottawa airport for Thanksgiving a few years back and seeing the wonderful color of the forests, as we were landing. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteWow...Such beautiful colors!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Sunny(who also loves poops)
Your autumn leaves are so pretty! Some of those sunflowers can get so tall that they need staking. The birds will still eat the seeds no matter what.
ReplyDeleteCanada is wearing her fall colors and they are lovely

You sure have a lot of beautiful fall color around you. We would have barked at those turkeys too.
ReplyDeleteI hate to see the leaves change and all but they sure know how to go out in style.
ReplyDeleteWe're running late on the Fall colors too. But we enjoyed the nice summery weather while it lasted. Now it's suddenly getting cold out. Frost is coming soon.
ReplyDeleteI love days like this - even if it feels a bit toasty! I hope for both of us, we get a few more like this before the cold weather comes! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! ❤
