The best example of these types of moments is walking in the field. It is beautiful and relaxing on one hand, and on the other it is hard work. The dogs don't listen and wander, they find deer poop to eat, you swear you spent the whole walk "Hailey, come." "Phod stop eating poop." "Guys, over here!" However, when we are walking in the field, I have gratitude for much of the life I have created, while having some frustration.

ReplyDeletePrecious moments made all the more valuable for their being mined out of the 'grime' that surrounds them! It can be hard to let all the ordure of the world drop away but if anywhere can do it, a walk in that beautiful paddock can! YAM xx
Nature is a natural soother for me. Just looking at your photos is soothing. Phod and Hailey make the walk worth while even though they might be part of the 'grime' Yam mentioned. If I did not have Beau to make me go for walks, i would be a couch potato
ReplyDeletewe love this moments too.. although we are busy with screaming no! and leave!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that there are big paths for you to walk on. We can see how it would be relaxing to be out there but there are so many tempting thing for pups to stick their noses in.
ReplyDeleteThese moments are true treasures!! I say you have a streak of an optimist too capture these moments.

That does look like a fun place to walk!
ReplyDeleteA dog will do what a dog will do, even if it's poo. But aside from that, you sure have a nice place to go for a walk.
ReplyDeleteYour field is so gorgeous and you are so lucky to have it, Phod and Hailey!
