It started off well enough. We took our car, no issues at the boarder (they didn't even ask to see the dogs rabies certificates), arrived at the RV. Loaded into the RV and then the chaos started.
The RV was loud and shaky and Hailey was sure we were going to die. She sat in the back and cried and tried to get on the table. (In the chaos, no pictures were taken).
I moved to the back to sit with her until she calmed down. During this time, Phod thought he should try and get under the console in the passenger seat.
About 30 minutes into the drive, a truck and the gale force winds took us off the road, and the Man amazingly kept us on the shoulder. There was a moment we were all sure we were going to die and we should just turn around.
The Man kept going.
For some time the dogs sat like this:
Phod learned to tolerate the RV by sitting between us like this
and this
Hailey took this position from her seatbelt (because she just wants to sit on a lap if she is not harnessed in:
or this position.
For the rest of the trip, we called the RV the death trap!
Tomorrow will be about our friends in the furs!
