Why I Love Having Guests - By Hailey

I love having Grammie, the Big Guy, Tendra and Barley visit. Here are my top 10 reasons why I love having them here:


10) Extra treats

9) I am not the least co-operative with the flashy box (note, she hasn't even tried to capture us all again).

8) None of the other dogs like my bed, so I don't have to fight for it.

7)  I am the littlest, which makes me the most precious.

6) We get to eat dinner 1.5 hour early. Can you believe it? That early!

5) I can get away with doing bad things, like pee on the floor because with all the commotion, it is easy to miss things.

4) I am the only one who doesn't play fetch so I get special outdoor time.

3) Extra people to pet me.

2) Tendra can be bossy and barky and usually is getting in more trouble then me. It is nice not to always be the trouble dog.

1) Grammie let's me jump up on her, she knows it is cause I love her and she loves me.

    Those sound like some perfect reasons to love having house guests! I do like to jump on visitors too (it's just to show them how happy I am for their visit...*wink wink*)

    #8 is most impawtant. I don't like sharing my bed..well I must admit it is a great big queen human bed that is mine except when my human sis and BIL visit then it is theirs.
    #6 I must recruit company if it gets one fed sooner than later

    I have found that there are good guests and bad guests. Some spoil you and others get cross if you lick their feet. That's just my experience.
