Feline Friday - A letter to the cats - by Zaphod

Dear Bagheera and Nin,

You know I love you very much. Sometimes I want to run with you, but I never play rough or try to hump you like LeeLee does. I keep my distance. I respect your space. I want you to love me. I am a good dog brother. I just want to ask you that why, even though I am such a good dog, do you keep peeing on my dog beds? Lady keeps having to take them away to clean them. Sometimes she has to get rid of them. I would really appreciate if you could stop doing this.

But Baggy if this makes you too stressed and you may want to kill me in my sleep for suggesting you don't pee on my things, please keep peeing on my bed. [Baggy you still kind of scare me].

Thank you,

Love your Phody

  1. Poor phod - maybe it is just an age thing,,,they are pretty old and and such maybe their bladders can't hold out long enough to get to the litter box.

  3. MOUSES! Ummm... If you happen to come across a reason for this kind of behavior, would you mind lettin' me in on the secret? Every now and then my Auntie Blossom.... Uh... Never mind. She might object to my talking 'bout such things.

  5. Dear Phod,

Cats are strange and unexplainable things. Sometimes our beds and mats get peed on too. This morning however, our Cat Named Jack left us a present on one of our mats! Fresh Cat vomit! This was very exciting, but the people stole it before we could enjoy our present. So maybe it's the people who are strange and unexplainable things?

    Here's to fewer Cat pees,

  6. Has Lady had the cats checked for infections? Sometimes when they have ouchies in their bladders they pee outside the box.

I hope the situation gets better, you need a bed!

  8. Oh boy. That pee-ing in my bed thing would send me over the edge I think. I like my bed to be perfectly stunk up by my own self!!

  9. You've got some naughty kitty siblings, mate! They're trying to show that they're the boss which isn't RIGHT, 'cause everyone knows DOGS RULE!

  10. Yeah, we had that happen in our house. With four cats, we never knew for sure whodunnit, but we have our suspicions. One of the reasons we buy washable dog beds.

  11. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! Phod, I am very sorry to hear about your lost Precious Ball, and very glad you found it again! It must be your stupendous (and handsome!) nose that did this heroic deed of finding Precious! I am sure your Precious is very happy to be back with you. I love stories with happy endings!
