I am particularly interested in appreciating the little red squirrel named Red John that we see most days and who trash talks me. Of all the squirrels I see, he is the one who makes me the maddest. He really bothers me and I would like the chance to get to appreciate him more.
Today squirrels, I hope to appreciate you up close.

Oh oh - you have to be careful of those Red ones. Mom was telling us that when she lived in Minnesota the grey squirrels she use to feed every day had babies and one of them was red. He was only half the size of the grey ones but he had three times the temper - she called him Psycho squirrel as he was always fighting the others.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost as if Dottie wrote this post... she has a similar love of squirrels!
ReplyDeleteHailey I fink if you ask Phod to let you stand on his shoulders it might work, you might want to have protective gear on first though.

Dear Ojo's cousin Lee,
ReplyDeleteI do not appreciate squirrels. They are annoying. But Ojo... Well, she is too busy staring out the window at the squirrel in the front yard to comment. (She also says they are very tasty, and she has had many in her mouth, both fresh and also dried out dead-squirrel-jerky. I personally think she's disgusting.)
Licks,
Cobi
I got to appreciate a squirrel around Christmas, but Mommy made me LEAVE IT. I was very sad when Daddy picked it up and took it away. ~Fenris
