Due to all this rain there is some flooding in the nearby city, Gatineau (it is where the Man works, but his work has not been effected). At least 50 homes have been evacuated. The water in the streets is so high, boats are needed to rescue people. We hope all the people and animals remain safe and that the continued rain ends soon.
Here are some pictures from cbc.ca.

We are so glad our rain has finally stopped and also grateful we did not have any flooding right in our area. It is supposed to be a sunny weekend so Mom is hoping the mudpuddles will dry up:) We don't need any more appearances of Muddy Misty.

Staying in bed sounds like a perfect idea. Stay safe in all that crazy rain. Mom and I will say a prayer for all of the people displaced and the first responders.
