Too cute for mischief! |
Because of these increased running away incidents, a tie out has been purchased for Phod. He will still get some off leash time to play ball and frisbee, but when there are extra people around he will not have that freedom.
The second occurred at bath time. Phod has been really smelly this summer, so he had to have another bath. Lady tried to lift his 75 lbs into the tub, but she couldn't do it. Man came in and said "Phody in the tub" and he hopped right in. Lady was not impressed.
Oh, Phod sounds like a daddy's dog just like me! It makes Ma crazy when I don't listen to her but I listen to daddy. BOL

ReplyDeleteBOL.... (ahem).... Phod, you may find that cutesome won't cut mustard any more if you keep up the mischief! I'd be watching your paw if you intend to keep getting treats and tummy rubs!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Oh boy! Grandma's trick when we had a big dog years ago. Throw a pancake in the bathtub -- the big dog jumps in the tub fur the pancake -- and you got him cornered fur a bath.
ReplyDeleteThat is tough, but best to be safe.
ReplyDeleteOh the second mischief is so funny. Maybe not for lady, but still :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the smile. And thank you for your kind words at passing of our Kit xoxo

ReplyDeleteOh dears....you're just too friendly for your own good Phod! I can tells you are definitely a daddy's boy!! Tie outs aren't too bad...just make sure you're on a harness....Ma tied out her OES, and saw a cat walk by and almost choked herself chasin' it !

At our house it's the exact opposite. Fenris only minds Mommy. He will even look at her for permission after Daddy grants permission to do something he knows Mommy will disapprove of. Mommy says Fenris knows who hands out the kibble.
ReplyDeleteWow! I jump right into the bath tub too, but Joey dog thinks I'm crazy.
ReplyDeletePhod you are keeping your peeps on their toes. Way to go.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm impressed Phod. I hide at the mention of bath.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,

WTG Phod! Showing you aren't going to be lifted into a tub. However, I, Roxy just get HOSED down when I've rolled in something. Dui has started chasing trucks, so he is on the lead lots of times.
ReplyDeleteWe can see why that might be a little irritating to the Lady...LOL.
