First, the biggest mischief award goes to the Lady. She has us soooooooo behind on visiting all our pals for 2 reasons. The first one is she has been fighting a migraine for 5 days and has been trying to limit her screen time for it (as if that is a reason not to blog or read blogs). The second is we have had a lot of company the past few days. It is a long weekend in much of Canada (not in the province we live in, but both Lady and Man have the day off). When you live at the lake during a long weekend in Canada, you tend to get visitors.
Now for other mischief:
Our first visitors were Uncle Chris and Emma. It was so great to see them, even if Emma causes some mischief!
Here she is being a toy thief!
|
Emma: "Phod I don't care that there are 50 toys out, I need this one." |
|
"If I just reach a little further I can get it." |
|
"There is one, now time for another." |
This pattern continued until most of the toys were on the floor. She made a big mess!
toys are always best when scattered every where :)
ReplyDeleteOh pals, I am sorry your mom had a migraine. I hope she is feeling better now. I have been bad, bad, bad about visiting friends too. We are puppy-sitting my little cousin Louie and he keeps Ma and I ever so busy. He doesn't understand our routine and thus, mixes it all up! Happy Monday.

ReplyDeleteOh Phod, you have such a worried frown! Emma, I think, was not so much after the toys as the activity of moving them from one place to another... perhaps she'd be good a the docks! Hope Lady's migraine drops off soon. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I finks I luffs Emma, she's a girlie after my own heart...the toy you WANT is always ALWAYS at the bottom of the toy box!

ReplyDeleteTaking all the toys out of the box is great fun! Did you chew any of them up?

BOL! Jessie is the same way. She doesn't want to play with the toys that are out, she wants to pull out whatever Momma's put away in the toy boxes!

The best thing about playing is emptying the toy box

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! That is GOOD mischief, Cousin's Cousin Emma! My person is teaching me a new training-game called "put it away". In this game I must pick up the toys off the floor and put them in the white laundry bin. Then I get treats. But I have to say, I much prefer taking them out! Sometimes I have a disagreement with my person. She says to find a toy and put it away, but instead I go to the bin and take a toy out to play with! This doesn't get any treats, but it's FUN!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Emma! Don't know why the peeps insist putting the toys in a box

ReplyDeletePeeS: we hopes your Mom feels better soon. Healing purrs for her.
ReplyDeleteOh, we have toys scattered upstairs and downstairs. It is our way of getting mom exercise!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Emma is a cutie! I can tell she loves your toys. Maybe your mom can teach you how to "clean up", which means put all the toys back in the box!
ReplyDeleteThis human has been mischievous in the same way as your Lady. We all understand that sometimes life is too much.
Hope your Mom's migraine is all gone now. I get migraines too, so now what that is all about...no fun at all, especially when there's other things going on that you want to be enjoying!
