First we put a towel down in the tub so he wouldn't slip.
Next Man lifted him into the tub.
Then I washed and rinsed.
I towel dried him.
Man lifted him out.
He shook, and then off he went.
He was awesome in the tub. I could tell he didn't love it, but he totally tolerated it.
As we don't bathe him often, I didn't wash his head, just his body.
Let's hope the smell goes away now!
Well done Phod, Baff time isn't all funs butts it does make you smell nice

you would think considering he loves splashing in the lake that he would love a bath too - maybe you need to throw a precious in there with him :)
ReplyDeletePhod I hope the smell is gone and you smell like a rose now... one bath is enough, right?
ReplyDeleteOh, the dreaded b-a-t-h. I don't like them either...but I tolerate them...then I get outta there towel dried and rub my damp fur all over Ma's couch. Serves her right!
ReplyDeleteGood boy, Phod! I don't like baths either, but I put up with them when ABSOLUTELY necessary.

What smell??!! SHE says we smell, too. We don't even notice.
ReplyDeleteWe think Phod was very brave and patient....or perhaps shellshocked.
Good boy Phod! Now do you get to get on the bed?
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
At least it's over with, Phod! My bath is coming in two days...I've started hiding underneath furniture when my daddy comes to get me - I know his "bath time" look! Last week I tried hiding under a living room chair, but it was too low and I only got my head and neck under...I won't be doing that again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good boy! Love your tub. :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't envy you, Phod! But at least the bath is over now.
ReplyDeleteCinnamon does not like the tub, but she does likes to has a shower with Mommy. Mommy discovered that doggies likes showers with their Mommys when Bob rolled in a dead skunk and had to has a bath everyday for almost 2 weeks. She has taked Cinnamon in quite a few times (even when she did not need it) just to keeps her used to it!
ReplyDeletePurrhaps Phod would likes showers better too!
Kisses
Nellie
Oh, I'm the same way Phod!!! I try and hide under the table, butts Ma always finds me! I did try and hop out all soapy one time, butts she caught me....best to just deal with it til it's over, which is pretty quick. I bets you are gettin' all kinds of belly rubs and scritches now!!! (peeps like non-stinky doggies....I thinks there is something wrong with their snooters...just sayin')
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
OH POOR PHOD... We are sorry you were water boarded... butt just think now you can begin adding FRESH new GOOD SMELLS.
ReplyDeleteSorry to see you had to get water boarded Phod. We hope you ran all around the house and rubbed your wet body all over the furniture.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice when they cooperate and make it easier! Hope it worked!
